Key Qualifications:

• 7–10 years of Central Office, Data Center, or MTSO installation experience.
• 4–6 years of Level II Installer or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of telecom installation practices, DC power, and basic electrical theory.
• Experience with copper, fiber optic, coaxial, Cat5/Cat6, AC/DC equipment, and power cabling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, floor plans, and installation procedures.
• Experience using hand and power tools, test equipment, and installation materials.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, work under raised floors, cut/drill metal, and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work overtime, flexible schedules, nights as needed, and travel up to 100% for Special Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, mount, and align Central Office and Data Center equipment.
• Erect infrastructure and mount frames, cabinets, relay racks, terminal blocks, and interconnect panels.
• Install, terminate, label, and test copper, fiber optic, coaxial, and Cat5/Cat6 cabling.
• Install AC/DC equipment and perform basic DC power work, including fuse panels, power feeders, and power leads.
• Read and follow installation instructions, procedures, wiring diagrams, floor plans, and technical drawings.
• Perform cable verification, cable mining, and cable removal activities.
• Conduct power verification, continuity, fiber-loss, Cat5/Cat6, and system testing.
• Lead and mentor Level I and II installers while coordinating with Project Managers and Engineering.
• Ensure all installations meet customer quality and installation standards.
• Work day shift, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Work Requirements

• Willing to work nights, overtime, and flexible schedules as needed.
• Travel required (up to 100% for Special Operations teams).
• Ability to climb ladders, work under raised floors, cut/drill metal, lift up to 75 lbs., and work in confined spaces.
