Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to gather comprehensive information from clients, allowing for the formulation of individual treatment plans based on specific needs.

• Implement customized therapeutic approaches, engaging clients with effective questioning techniques to facilitate deeper self-awareness and emotional exploration.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, employing established emergency care protocols to provide immediate assistance to clients in distress.

• Utilize mental exercises and role-playing activities during sessions to enhance client engagement and develop coping skills.

• Document all client interactions carefully and maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Collaborate with colleagues to offer recommendations for additional therapeutic resources and support services when necessary.

• Engage in continuous professional development to remain abreast of advancements in counseling practices and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted LPC license in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in an outpatient clinical setting.

• Strong ethical understanding of professional standards and practices in mental health care.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a wide range of clients from various backgrounds.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and workload. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a sign-on bonus for new hires.
