Manufacturing Operations Leader

This role provides overall leadership of manufacturing operations by driving safe, efficient, and financially successful production performance while ensuring achievement of operational goals, KPI targets, and on-time delivery objectives. The position oversees daily plant operations, production scheduling execution, labor utilization, equipment performance, safety compliance, continuous improvement initiatives, and team development to maximize throughput, quality, efficiency, and profitability. Responsibilities include leading Lean manufacturing efforts such as 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, root cause analysis, and process optimization; managing production metrics including OEE, downtime, labor efficiency, first pass yield, and margin performance; partnering cross-functionally with planning and leadership teams to address capacity constraints and improve operational performance; and maintaining a strong presence on the production floor to drive accountability and real-time problem solving. The role also leads hiring, coaching, performance management, and cross-training initiatives to develop a high-performing workforce while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory standards. Additionally, the position manages labor budgets, overtime, preventive maintenance efforts, and overall facility readiness to support operational excellence, equipment reliability, and long-term business growth.
