PRODUCTION PLANNER

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to accurately input and maintain critical data. Responsibilities include entering order details, inventory records, and production data into our database system. The ideal candidate will possess typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with inventory management or ERP systems is a plus. salary: $20 - $22 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Order & Project Setup: Reviews customer requirements to write detailed work orders, purchase orders, and outside processing orders with correct specs, dimensions, and delivery dates. Contract & Quality Compliance: Audits customer purchase orders against specifications, ensuring adherence to quality guidelines and AS9100 aerospace standards. Scheduling & Expediting: Prioritizes daily order flow, expediting urgent orders and managing high-priority government-rated (DPAS) requirements to hit delivery deadlines. Inventory & Vendor Coordination: Partners with Inventory, Procurement, and suppliers to allocate stock, optimize material yields, and resolve order discrepancies. Cross-Functional Communication: Keeps Sales, Warehouse, QA, and Finance aligned on order progress, material lead times, and updated completion dates. Math & Documentation: Calculates material measurements, weights, and unit conversions while maintaining project files, mill test reports, and open-order status reports. Workplace Safety: Adheres to all safety rules, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines when moving through production and warehouse areas.
