Data Collection: Unit Information: (insert name) Location: Address:7600 Fannin St Floor: 5th Building: West tower General Information Tell us about the unit(s): • Number of Beds - 14-22 • Number of Staff - dependent on acuity and census • Type of staff: o Day Shift - cnc / 4-6 nurses prefer cnc free, unit secretary, o Night Shift - cnc / 4-6 nurses prefer cnc free, • Patient Ratios - med/surg 4/1, • Type of equipment - • EMR - meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • bls • pals Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. • acls • List typical procedures performed on unit(s): • Cleft palate repair, appy, chest tube management, lumbar punctures, • Seizure management, noninvasive cardiology only, no neurosurgery or stroke, no removal foreign body from airway • Currently have services for neuro, ortho, gen surg, thoracic cases such as thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, pectus bar implants.
