Human Resource Generalist / Manager

Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR administrative role. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Experience in coordinating with immigration lawyers is a plus, but not mandatory. Experience in working with Canada-based employees is a plus, but not mandatory. Responsibilities Responsible for HR and Admin functions, including hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining public access files such as I9, eVerify, etc. Payroll and employee benefits. Conduct orientation sessions for new hires, take statements for investigations, and manage time and attendance records. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed during new hire orientations. Maintain accurate records of employee attendance and process time‑off requests timely. Assist with employee investigations by taking statements and gathering information. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Assist with the recruitment and selection process as needed. Manage employee records and ensure they are up‑to‑date and accurate. Answer employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.
