Job Description

Join an established automotive manufacturing company as a Camera Sort Operator. In this role, you will operate automated camera inspection equipment to identify defective automotive components and ensure finished products meet quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

· Operate automated camera sorting and inspection equipment for automotive components
· Load parts into machinery and ensure proper alignment and feeding
· Inspect parts for cracks, damaged threads, incorrect dimensions, discoloration, and surface defects
· Separate acceptable parts from defective or nonconforming materials
· Record production totals, inspection results, scrap counts, and quality concerns

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Previous manufacturing, machine operating, or quality inspection experience preferred
· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects
· Ability to follow written work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures
· Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
· Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive tasks

The base pay rate for this position is $17.75 per hour, equivalent to approximately $36,920 annually based on a full-time schedule, excluding benefits, bonuses, overtime, or other compensation. Final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
