Hertvik Insurance is looking for a receptionist that can help us exceed our client's expectations for outstanding service. You will be the first point of contact for our customers.
In addition to answering the phone, you will perform a variety of service and administrative duties. We will also help you learn a new industry with potential to advance into other positions.

Responsibilities- Answering and transferring calls as necessary
- Managing security and telecommunications systems
- Handling queries and complaints via phone, email and general correspondence
- Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member in time
- Greeting visitors
- Various administrative tasks
- Data entry projects
- Managing meeting room availability
- Receiving, sorting, distributing and dispatching daily mail
- Handling transcription, printing, photocopying and faxing
- Coordinating internal and external events
- Maintaining safety and hygiene standards of the reception area
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal communication
- Good telephone communication etiquette
- Organized and resourceful
- Customer-focused
- Active listener
- Adept at prioritizing, scheduling and multitasking
- Ability to handle office equipment, such as the telephone system, printer and the fax machine
- Fast and eager learner
