As a prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associate, you will prepare fresh food items daily for our members, following recipes and preparing warm rotisserie chicken. You will also properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. What You’ll Do Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future productions, and adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Drive the performance of the area, using digital tools, managing expectations, stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and guiding peers. Act as an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and customers; communicate progress and recommend improvement opportunities. Responsibilities Ensure high‑quality products are available in the prepared foods area. Maintain clean shelves, temperature control, expiry dates, and disposal of lower‑quality products. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Maintain the sales floor in accordance with company policies, handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Maintain a clean, sanitized, member‑ready area. Qualifications 18 years of age or older. Prior experience with fresh food and ability to follow recipes. Strong customer service orientation and problem‑solving skills. Comfortable with change and able to adapt quickly. Food Service or Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) preferred.
