To learn more about AWS’s water+ commitment visit: Water Stewardship.Come join the team that is building the tools and innovative technology to manage our growing portfolio of renewable energy investments, including solar, on-shore and off-shore wind farms.Key job responsibilitiesKey job responsibilities* Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary AWS customers and partners to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.* Lead and mentor other engineers.* Translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables and build quick prototypes or proofs of concepts.* Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.* Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.* Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.* Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.About the teamThe AWS Infrastructure Sustainability Tech organization builds solutions to integrate sustainability data across AWS infrastructure and operations and support AWS customer’s sustainability goals, AWS’ progress towards net zero carbon goal, renewable energy management, and other cross-cutting sustainability objectives. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
