Schedule

Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Evening Shift: 3:00PM - 11:00PM
Swing Shift: 2:00PM-8:00PM

The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the overnight front desk operation, completing the nightly audit, assisting overnight guests, and ensuring all financial and end-of-day procedures are completed accurately.

What You'll Do

As a Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor, you will:

• Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude and provide outstanding service throughout their stay.
• Efficiently handle guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, cancellations, requests, and inquiries.
• Complete the nightly audit and ensure guest accounts and hotel financial records are accurate.
• Review and verify that end-of-day procedures have been completed by other departments.
• Audit room charges, credit card accounts, reservation deposits, city ledger, and other hotel accounts.
• Prepare daily accounting and audit reports.
• Process guest payments, receipts, account transfers, and other forms of credit.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments and outside businesses to meet guest needs.
• Review upcoming reservations for accuracy, including dates, room types, and special requests.
• Assist with maximizing hotel occupancy and room revenue through suggestive selling.
• Answer phones, process wake-up calls, take messages, and assist guests with hotel information.
• Operate the hotel's front desk and franchise systems.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and communication throughout the shift.
• Keep the front desk and surrounding area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Follow all hotel security, safety, emergency, and operational procedures.
• Complete all required items on the Night Audit checklist before closing the shift.
• Assist the team with daily hotel operations and participate in Manager on Duty responsibilities when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

Previous hotel Night Audit or Front Desk experience is preferred, and Hilton experience is a plus — but we're willing to train the right person!

• The ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns.

• Basic knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing procedures is helpful.
• PEP system knowledge is recommended but  not required .
• The ability to learn and follow hotel brand standards and procedures.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel front office experience preferred.
• Night Audit experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate standard front desk and hotel computer systems.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry approximately 30–50 pounds when necessary.
• Ability to conduct occasional property walks and inspections.
• Must be comfortable working an overnight schedule.
