Technical Recruiter

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our global Recruiting team. In this role, you will focus on hiring engineers across our Trading Technology (live trading environment) and Research & Development (enabling research) engineering teams. You will partner directly with hiring managers who have incredibly high standards, helping them navigate a competitive talent landscape. You will engage with deeply technical candidates, and manage the end-to-end hiring process for a variety of technical roles within HRT’s engineering ecosystem.HRT is one of the top quantitative trading firms in the world. We want recruiters who bring a unique perspective and curiosity, who can challenge the status quo of how to find the brilliant yet humble technical talent that make HRT so special.ResponsibilitiesPartner directly with engineering leadership on recruitment strategy, and be a proactive and consultative strategic partner to hiring managersManage the end-to-end hiring pipelines of engineering roles from first outreach through offer acceptance, including navigating complex offer negotiationsProvide a high-touch, white-glove candidate experience across both opportunistic roles and high-volume pipelinesApply an engineering mindset to your recruitment approach, continuously leveraging recruiting data & analytics to identify inefficiencies and iterate on your processBuild relationships with external recruitment agencies to generate high-quality candidate flow for your rolesConduct market research and talent mapping projects to identify top technical talent, uncover candidate trends, and complete competitor analysesAttract passive candidates using creative sourcing methods (open-source community involvement, network building, direct outreach, referrals) to build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needsQualifications3+ years of full life cycle technical recruiting experienceBachelor’s degreeProven success recruiting in specialized technical domainsStrong talent mapping capabilities—comfortable researching companies, org structures, roles, and skills in depthData-driven mindset with experience using recruiting analytics to guide strategyExcellent cross-functional verbal and written communication skillsA passion for building technical teams and delivering an outstanding candidate experienceThe estimated base salary range for this position is 150,000 to 250,000 USD per year (or local equivalent). The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
