Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badging requirements, and security-related policies at the location.
Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and credential checkpoints to help regulate authorized access to the property, including screening visitors, verifying identification, and documenting arrivals and departures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, access control issues, and security-related concerns in industrial and chemical processing areas.
Prepare clear reports on daily activities, incidents, and access-related events, and communicate relevant information with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have access control and badge experience preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
