Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with infections such as endocarditis, abscesses, septic arthritis, sepsis, osteomyelitis, and more.
• Work with patients who have underlying substance use histories.
• Coordinate with physicians for any required titration of medications.
• Assist in telemetry monitoring using portable telemetry packs.
• Collaborate effectively with charge nurses and certified aids in managing patient care.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong neuro nursing experience
• Comfortable working in a setting with patients who may be actively using or withdrawing from substances
