Job Full Description

Position: Parts Assistant

A Wrecker Service in Haltom City is hiring for an Accounting Administrative Assistant with QuickBooks experience!

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Temp to hire

Pay: $18-23/hr

Position Responsibilities:

Takes parts orders by telephone
Researches parts requested through effective and efficient use of Internet catalogs available through manufacturers
Handles retail parts transactions with customers
Follows procedures and processes for ordering, selling, delivering and handling parts returns
Promotes manufacturer's brand parts to generate the highest revenues possible
Learns about various machinery parts to provide the most accurate and timely service possible to customers needing those parts
Assists Parts Manager with inventory counts and annual inventory-taking
Resolves customer complaints effectively, rarely resorting to complaint escalation to the Parts Manager
This may not include all job duties

Position Qualifications:

• Experience with inside sales or customer service

• Shipping and receiving experience

• Proficient in Microsoft office
