• Current interpreter certification or ability to meet state and school requirements

Core Responsibilities:

• Interpret classroom instruction, group activities, and school events to facilitate clear communication between students, staff, and peers
• Translate both spoken language to ASL and vice versa, adjusting signing style to suit the abilities of assigned students
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support learning goals
• Provide language and communication support during meetings, assemblies, and extra-curricular activities as required
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress notes as directed
