We have a deep commitment to high-touch communication and collaborative relationships, and we believe that our team’s expertise, creativity, and resilience are critical to our success.About This Role – The JobWe are currently looking for an Assistant Vice President or Vice President to work within our banking team in Phoenix, AZ.The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; possesses the ability to navigate multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines with strong organizational skills; and displays a professional demeanor to interact with senior partners, clients, and colleagues. The ideal candidate is a great communicator with a strong work ethic who is interested in a meaningful role on a supportive team. The accountabilities of this role include:Contribute in significant ways to the strategic growth of the business and perform business development activitiesBuild and maintain relationships with industry consultants, developers and other external partners and stakeholders Play an active role in elevating the industryLead banking transactions from launch to close, including:Conduct relationship management meetings and other activities with existing PSC clients and consultants Pre-qualify customers with regard to their financial status or objectives in connection with investment banking opportunities Assess client goals, provide options and facilitate decisions on structure and timingEnsure regular and highly effective communication is maintained throughout the transaction lifecycleServe as subject matter expert to clients and other SDG team members across debt credit frameworks for refinancing and other less complex transactions in an established local marketParticipate in high impact HR efforts and contribute in significant ways to team culture Produce, update and present Business Development materialsConduct market research to identify new real estate projects occurring across the state of ArizonaAttend industry networking events, conferences, and other industry specific eventsPrepare and maintain various marketing materials, including presentations, pitchbooks, research summaries, and market updatesBuild and maintain relationships with industry consultants, developers, and other external partnersConsistently modeling SDG’s organizational values and contributing to team culture About The Ideal Candidates – YouYou thrive in a high-pace, high-performance environment.You learn quickly, are curious and committed to your own growth and advancement.You characterize yourself as being intrinsically self-motivated, goal oriented and resilient.You exhibit confidence and courage, contributing to discussions, and embracing opportunities outside comfort zones.You can effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.You plan and organize your work effectively, meeting deadlines and informing stakeholders of project status. Most of the compensation for this position comes from the annual incentive that is granted based on personal and team performance.
