Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Colchester, CT Area | Direct Hire | $18–$22 per hour plus benefits | 2 Openings

A.R. Mazzotta is recruiting for two Medical Front Desk Receptionists to join a professional healthcare office in the Colchester area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients and providing friendly, organized front-office support.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional, welcoming manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Check patients in and out and maintain accurate records
• Collect copays and assist with insurance information
• Enter and update patient information in electronic systems
• Handle general administrative and clerical tasks
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a professional reception area
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and office staff

Qualifications

• Previous medical office, medical receptionist, or healthcare front desk experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional phone etiquette
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable using computers and learning electronic medical records systems
• Ability to multitask in a busy medical office environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus
