The Program Manager will lead Programs and Projects within the Engineering Program Management Department focused on new product development. Additionally, they will support and execute strategic initiatives and programs to drive improvements in speed of innovation and Engineering effectiveness and productivity that will achieve Daikin’s Product Roadmaps and profitability goals. This position provides Technical, Organizational, and Strategic Program Leadership. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location : Staunton, VA – HybridYour Responsibilities:Lead new Product Development Engineering teams and collaborate with multiple functions to define, develop, and deploy strategic initiatives and/or product roadmaps that maximize the value of the business and profitability of new productsWork closely with business leaders to plan future project implementation schedules, define projects/programs, manage the portfolio of projects/programs, and provide input on overall strategyDefine, maintain, and monitor program and project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityFocus efforts to meet the strategic goals and the program's specific tactical goalsRigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed-on time, cost, and quality parametersEnsure functional commitments are achieved with a strong understanding of Product Development Engineering deliverables within agreed-on time, cost, and quality parameters.
