About The Role Physical Therapists are responsible for supporting patient care and clinic success by: Synthesizing pertinent information from a patient’s referral, medical records, imaging, intake forms, and subjective history. Diagnosing movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture and gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations, objective measurements, and listening to patients’ concerns and goals. Using critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care that include the patient’s goals and expected outcomes. Utilizing evidence‑based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re‑education, biofeedback, and other modalities. Evaluating and documenting patient progress, using outcomes to drive results and modifying the plan of care as needed. Educating patients about what to expect from the recovery process and how to cope with challenges. Following up with patients to ensure better adherence to the plan of care. Connecting with providers and local organizations to increase awareness of therapies and ensure patients receive care. Providing clinical instruction of at least one student rotation per year after the first year of treatment in your specialty area. Other tasks as assigned. Interest in women’s health and pelvic floor physical therapy. Bonus Points Pelvic floor physical therapy experience or certification.
