Leveraging the power of our platform and our peerless intelligence across sectors, strategies, and geographies, we help identify the advantages and the answers our clients need to succeed.Position Overview:The Manager is a member of the corporate accounting team and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting, financial close, and reporting activities of the Company's subsidiary entities. The role supervises and develops accounting staff, performs detailed reviews of deliverables, strengthens processes and controls, and partners with internal and external stakeholders to support accurate and timely reporting.Essential Job Functions:Manage the monthly financial statement close and related accounting activities for subsidiary entitiesReview monthly financial statements, journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, and bank reconciliationsAssist with cash managementOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, and related documentation and follow-up processesReview long-term investment entries, capital call wires, and reconciliations to capital account balancesAssist with quarterly reviews and the annual audit process for subsidiary entities, including coordination of supporting documentation and responsesEnsure subsidiary entities comply with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable reporting requirementsMaintain local statutory books and timely filings with regulators, coordinating with local service providers as neededPartner with the U.S. accounting team and other subsidiaries to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and intercompany matters are resolved timelySupervise and develop accounting staff; establish clear priorities and review standardsIdentify and implement process improvements, including opportunities to leverage technology and strengthen controlsSupport ad hoc analyses, special projects, and other duties as neededEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferredAt least five years of progressive professional accounting experience, including experience reviewing work and leading accounting processesPrior supervisory or people-management experience preferredPrior public accounting experience preferred (Big 4 or Large Regional)Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting conceptsExperience with international entities, statutory reporting and/or foreign currency translation a plusFamiliarity with investment partnership accounting and/or reporting a plusHighly proficient in using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applicationsNetSuite general ledger experience a plusSalary Range: $115,000 - $120,000The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience.
