As the industry shifts to high-voltage 800VDC AI factory architectures, thermal management has become the gating constraint: server and rack fans, CDU pumps, and liquid-cooling loops must move more heat per watt, in less space, than ever before. We are seeking a highly motivated, technical exceptional, and strategically minded **Product & Segment Marketing Engineer** to own, define, and scale our power management and motor driver portfolio for data center thermal management — fans, pumps, and liquid-cooling systems — across our global Data Center and AI Infrastructure business. In this hybrid role, you will lead both **Product Development** (from concept to release) and **Business Development** (from design-in to production) to win share at tier-one ODMs, OEMs, and reference-design innovators worldwide. **What You Will Do** **1. Product Development & Strategy (Concept to RTM)** * **Portfolio Ownership:** Drive the worldwide product strategy, roadmap planning, and long-term profitable growth for the Motors BU Data Center portfolio.* **Product Definition:** Lead product definition by translating complex customer requirements, AI hardware trends, and competitive landscapes into differentiated IC concepts and clear Market Requirements Documents (MRDs).* **Business Case Justification:** Build robust business cases (including TAM/SAM modeling, pricing strategies, and ROI/margin analyses) to justify new product kick-offs and secure alignment from BU leadership, design directors, and executive management.* **NPI Ownership & Launch:** Own the commercial success of new programs through the entire lifecycle (Pre-RTM, Launch, and Post-RTM). Collaborate with systems, design, and applications engineering to resolve development hurdles, safeguarding Release to Market (RTM) timelines and profit margins. **2. Business Development & Global Market Execution (RTM to Production)** * **Strategic Design Wins:** Drive the pipeline from Sales Lead to Design-Win (DWIN) to grow net revenue while aggressively defending and maximizing gross margin profitability.* **Ecosystem Partnerships:** Map, engage, and build deep partnership networks with key industry influencers, including major hyperscalers, hardware OEMs, reference design houses, distribution partners, and primary cooling ODMs.* **Regional Collaboration:** Align with regional sales leadership and Field Application Engineers (FAEs) globally to identify high-value unassigned accounts, move them to active pipelines, and deliver localized technical marketing, demonstrations, and system-level architecture reviews.* **Collateral & Sales Enablement:** Author compelling value propositions, competitive positioning strategies, technical product presentations, and training materials to equip global sales and distribution networks to effectively sell our motor driver and power management solutions. **What You Will Need** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related technical field is required.* 5+ years of experience in Semiconductor Product Marketing, Applications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Technical Business Development.* Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal ICs, gate drivers, or motor control systems (BLDC/PMSM, sensor-less FOC), particularly as applied to fan and pump drives.* Proven track record in portfolio management, TAM/SAM sizing, pricing strategies, and navigating product lifecycle management systems.* Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust with tier-one customer executives and influence cross-functional engineering, operations, and senior leadership teams.* Ability to travel globally 25–35% of the time to support international customers and sales teams. **Preferred Qualifications** * Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) and/or an MBA.* Direct experience in power management or cooling solutions specifically optimized for enterprise computing, high-density servers, or communications infrastructure.* Familiarity with the strict requirements of 48V and 800VDC power delivery ecosystems.* Professional proficiency in English, with fluency in Mandarin Chinese and/or Japanese.**Why Allegro?**Join Allegro and become part of a team where your contributions truly matter.We foster a culture of **Real Innovation**, empowering you to push boundaries, develop cutting-edge solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
