Job Responsibilities Maintains proficient knowledge of computer applications specific to the unit/job (e.g., maintaining census, scanning documents accurately) and is knowledgeable of equipment operation specific to the unit. Communicates appropriately and effectively with internal customers (staff and other departments). Relays accurate information and maintains confidentiality. Responds appropriately to and prioritizes work, including emergency situations (Code Blue, Rapid Response Team, Fire, Special Alert). Performs computer downtime procedures according to unit/TriHealth guidelines and demonstrates knowledge of emergency systems, policies and procedures. Acknowledges need for self‑growth and accountability, identifying areas for improvement. Aware of the location of all monitored patients during the shift, maintains knowledge of unit changes, and keeps alarms monitored at all times. Reviews alarms immediately and prioritizes cardiac monitoring. Accurately observes and interprets central cardiac monitors, maintains the cardiac monitor log with strips, intervals, and interpretations at designated times and as needed. Recognizes emergency rhythms and notifies appropriate personnel in an accepted timeframe; documents changes per unit standard. #J-18808-Ljbffr
