Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations, electrical codes, safety procedures, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.


Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment.
• Install and terminate electrical wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, switches, outlets, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and diagnose issues efficiently.
• Bend and install EMT, rigid, and other types of conduit.
• Perform electrical installations for lighting, power distribution, and equipment.
• Test electrical systems and ensure proper operation.
• Follow NEC requirements and all applicable local electrical codes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical inspections.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Coordinate with other trades and project teams to complete work on schedule.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures, including proper LOTO practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and wiring methods.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with conduit installation and bending.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to use electrical hand tools and testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• State or local electrical license/certification preferred, depending on project requirements.
• Ability to work overtime and/or weekends when required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift and carry electrical materials and equipment.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in various commercial job-site environments.
