Our fully-automated Histology lab enables expedited processing, including a large volume of diversified specimens.We are seeking a motivational grossing professional who is looking to take the next step in their career. Perform all routine procedures as a Histotechnologist to include accessioning of specimens, grossing, embedding, cutting, staining, cover slipping, labeling and distribution using state-of-the-art equipment.This is a part-time position for the evening shift including weekends. Location is our NYP Westchester campus (formerly Lawrence Hospital) in Bronxville; opposite the Metro North Station.Preferred CriteriaAt least one year experience in HistologyExperience with special staining proceduresRequired CriteriaAssociates Degree in Science and completion of an approved Histology accredited program; or Bachelor's Degree/equivalent experienceNew York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or Certified Histology Technician or Clinical Lab Technician from New York State Education DepartmentJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
