Accounting Manager

Our client is a division of a Fortune 300 global diversified industrial manufacturing company known for developing and promoting from within. Having a robust culture of Lean Manufacturing and empowered employees, they service companies in multiple markets including: material handling, factory automation, automotive, machine tool, packaging, transportation, and the military as well. The Opportunity: Set annual plan and departmental budgets. Oversee efficient working capital use through A/R, A/P, and AFE management. Ensure inventory is properly costed and analyzed. Manage monthly financial close process and maintain general ledger. Provide account reconciliation and business analysis as required. Prepare monthly reports and analysis for the division and Corporate Accounting. Assist withCorporate Accounting, Tax and Government reporting requirements. Track division Lean and Lean Accounting initiatives. What we are seeking: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including experience in financial reporting, close processes, internal controls, and account reconciliations in a manufacturing environment.
