POSITION SUMMARY

The position is responsible for unloading and distributing raw material to the machine operators on the production floor. Also receives and verifies all incoming purchased supplies, equipment, returned goods and co-signed goods or materials. Completes daily pulls to build pallets, prepares pallets for shipments according to customer's specifics. Continuous Improvement of processes and products are an ongoing function of this position.  THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Quality of receiving; packing slips, and delivering of parts to the proper locations.

• Checks received goods to purchase orders as to Identification, type, part number, dimension , size, weight, and general quality.

• Counts items to verify quantity, notifying purchasing of any discrepancies.

• Visually inspects goods received for damage in transit. If any damage, notes all packing slip and notifies purchasing for damage report to vendor.

• Delivers incoming items to requesting department.

• Verify product label pulled to build pallet against scanner gun inventory.

• Pick product and prepare pallets for shipment to ensure delivery dates are met.

• Loads and unloads trucks when necessary.

• Accurate and timely completion of required paperwork.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to obtain Forklift License-for both Sit Down and Stand Up Forklifts.

• Good organizational skills.

• Performs all duties in a quality conscious and safe manner.

• Maintains cleanliness of work area daily.

• HS Diploma/GED OR Relevant experience.
