Position Summary
The CNC Set-Up Technician (2nd Shift) is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components while meeting quality and safety standards.
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, including keyways for shaft production
- Set up and operate CNC machines (drilling, milling, grinding, turning)
- Convert engineering drawings into machine-ready dimensions
- Monitor production and adjust machines as needed
- Inspect parts for accuracy and consistency
- Perform basic preventative machine maintenance
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of CNC/manufacturing experience
- Lathe and/or horizontal mill experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, gauges, and keyway specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
