About This Role
We are seeking to hire a fun and caring After School Instructor in Richmond, VA. The After School Instructor will lead groups of elementary school students during after-school hours. The instructor will assist with homework, lead team building and STEM activities.
What You'll DoDuties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and submit weekly lesson plans and STEM activities
- Lead daily after-school activities
- Assist students with homework and enrichment activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment
- Establish and maintain clear expectations and supportive behavior guidance.
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Experience working with children or in a school setting
- Pass background checks and health screenings
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to train and obtain certification
- Dependable Transportation
First Aid/CPR Training, If not, we will provide training
