The Music Tree School in Richmond, VA, is seeking a dedicated Guitar Instructor to join our team. With a competitive hourly rate of $39 (plus equipment discounts), you will be part of a vibrant music community that fosters creativity and learning. As a Guitar Instructor, you will be providing top-notch music lessons to students of all ages. Your role will involve lesson preparation, guiding students in their musical journey, and creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Compensation:

$39 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Love to teach
• Develop personalized lesson plans for students based on their skill level and musical interests
• Conduct one-on-one guitar lessons with students of varying ages and skill levels
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their guitar playing techniques
• Organize and coordinate recitals and performances to showcase students' progress and talents
• Stay updated on music trends and teaching techniques to continuously enhance the quality of guitar instruction

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience teaching guitar lessons
• Degree in Music (or completing a degree in Music)
• Proficiency in various music genres and styles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create personalized lesson plans for students
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
