Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract in Washington State, performing CT and diagnostic imaging procedures including those of an invasive nature.

Details

• Hospital-based radiology department performing CT and general diagnostic imaging
• Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice CT scanner used for procedures
• Varying day shifts Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
• On-call responsibilities are required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CT and diagnostic radiology
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology
• Active ARRT, ARRT(R), and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Active Washington State license required, if applicable
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy required
• Proficiency with computer systems and radiology technology required
• Moderate to heavy physical effort required, including the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, push a 150 lb loaded stretcher 300 feet, and reach overhead while holding 25 lbs
• Good stamina, flexibility, manual dexterity, and fine motor skills required

Additional Information

• Perform CT procedures including invasive studies under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist
• Responsible for patient positioning, patient instruction, equipment operation, and determining technical exposure factors
• Must ensure correct marking and labeling of all images
• Provide quality patient care and customer service in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures
