MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Maintenance RepresentativeThe Maintenance Representative is responsible for assisting the Site Manager in the day-to-day maintenance operations at the site level.Duties of this position include but are not limited to:Maintaining property in top condition at all times to include:Inspections of grounds, buildings and individual units according to set schedule.Preparation of inspection reports, and assessment of needed repairsWorking with the Site Manager to determine if repairs should be handled internally or if outside vendors are neededMeeting with vendors to obtain accurate quotesCleaning of common areasBasic knowledge of HVAC maintenanceBasic landscaping and lot porterCleaning, and preparing vacant units for paintingOther maintenance duties as assignedMust have knowledge of basic maintenanceThis position requires daily tenant interactionMust work within strict budget guidelinesRequires standing for long periods, stooping, bending and lifting on a daily basisAdditional duties as assignedCompany has been in business since 1974 developing, constructing, and operating affordable apartment communities in both rural and metropolitan areas across the country.RequirementsAbility to work unsupervised. Maintenance skills a must. Ability to mow grass, basic plumbing, painting skills a must. Excellent customer service skills required.
