Job Description
Join a high-performing ambulatory surgery center as a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment working Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. The PACU RN will provide post-anesthesia recovery care for outpatient surgical patients undergoing orthopedic, joint, hand, general surgery, urology, and endoscopy procedures. This role requires strong assessment skills, the ability to recognize and respond to post-operative complications, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care from recovery through same-day discharge.

Requirements:

Minimum 18 months of PACU RN experience required

Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required

BLS Certification required

ACLS Certification required

Epic charting experience required

Experience recovering outpatient surgical patients required

Strong post-anesthesia assessment and monitoring skills required

Ability to remain beyond scheduled shift if patients are not ready for discharge required

Two supervisory references from the past 12 months required for submission
