Security Dispatcher - Ronald Reagan Medical Center

Description Serving at UCLA Health will give you the opportunity to use your specialized abilities to help improve the lives of our patients, their families, and your fellow UCLA Health team members. You’ll provide critical support that makes healing happen. We’d love to have you join us. Under the supervision of the Security Manager/Supervisor, dispatches Security Personnel to emergency and non-emergency calls for service. Process and record emergency and routine call and complaints. Answers incoming phone calls, operates a computer aided dispatch system, and monitors system alarms. Monitor and direct appropriate response to all calls for service, visually monitor extensive CCTV system, and other duties assigned. Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license. Incumbent must possess P.O.S.T Certification as a Dispatcher or obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
