By leading buy-side and sell-side financial accounting due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients, the Senior Vice President provides critical insights that shape investment decisions and negotiation strategies. Through rigorous quality of earnings assessments, in-depth working capital analysis, and evaluation of key commitments and contingencies, this leader uncovers risks and opportunities that drive value. Partnering closely with management teams and their advisors, the role delivers clarity, confidence, and actionable intelligence at every stage of the transaction lifecycle.What You'll DoSupervising analysts and associates to ensure efficient project executionDemonstrate strong multitasking abilities, effectively managing multiple projects and administrative tasks simultaneouslyIdentify key risks and potential deal breakers during due diligence processAnalyze detailed financial statement information including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and operational dataSynthesize data and information into meaningful observations and conclusionsProduce comprehensive due diligence report to organize and communicate our findingsLead due diligence calls and meetings with client and target company managementReview audit workpapers to understand critical accounting policies and proceduresProvide insights to purchase agreement and other deal documentsActively involved in business development including client pursuits and proposalsParticipate in the hiring and training of analysts and associatesWhat You BringProficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standardsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPointRelationship-oriented, fostering connections with clients, peers, and managementDemonstrates an entrepreneurial mindsetMaintains a positive and enthusiastic attitudeThrives in a collaborative team environmentExhibits creativity in problem-solvingHolds oneself accountable and manages multiple tasks effectivelyProjects a professional presencePossesses strong technical and analytical skillsDetail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracySelf-motivated with a robust work ethicWillingness to travel up to 50% on short noticeExcels in a fast-paced, evolving work environmentEducation and/or Training:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related majorMinimum 7-10 years of experience in audit and/or financial accounting due diligence (with at least 2 years in due diligence). This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
