Clinical Quality & Training Analyst
Clearsense
Clinical Quality and Training Analyst
SUMMARY
The Clinical Quality and Training Analyst supports the definition, validation, and adoption of healthcare technology solutions by connecting clinical workflows and data requirements with delivery execution. The role evaluates solution design and data quality, documents quality assurance and validation activities, and develops training that helps clients use Clearsense solutions effectively.
Reporting to the Director, PMO, Application Transformation and Quality Team , the Clinical Quality and Training Analyst works within the Clinical Quality and Training path and receives functional direction from the designated path lead for assigned work.
Within the broader application lifecycle, the Application Transformation path owns application-lifecycle intake, requirements, readiness governance, access planning, and decommissioning coordination. The Clinical Quality and Training path leads clinical-quality evaluation, validation execution and evidence review, usability assessment, and training readiness and provides the documented quality recommendation supporting lifecycle decisions.
The Analyst works across the delivery lifecycle, beginning with clinical workflow discovery and build-scope definition and continuing through testing, validation, training, transition, and closeout. The position serves as a liaison among clinical users, customer stakeholders, project teams, engineering, data engineering, and product teams.
This is a hands-on delivery role. It is accountable for accurate analysis, complete documentation, timely follow-through, and clear communication within the standards and priorities established for the Clinical Quality and Training path.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct or support clinical workflow discovery to understand current-state practices, future-state needs, user roles, data use, and operational constraints.
• Translate clinical workflows and customer requirements into clear clinical-workflow, data-quality, validation, usability, and training requirements.
• Evaluate system design, workflows, data presentation, reports, and user experience for clinical accuracy, completeness, usability, and alignment with intended use.
• Collaborate with engineering and data engineering teams to clarify clinical meaning, improve data collection and transformation processes, and investigate quality concerns.
• Define and document data quality expectations, test conditions, clinical scenarios, acceptance criteria, and expected results.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance plans, test scripts, validation records, traceability documentation, and supporting evidence.
• Execute or support functional testing, clinical validation, reconciliation, and user review activities and document findings clearly.
• Identify defects, discrepancies, workflow gaps, and usability concerns; assess their clinical impact; and coordinate follow-up through resolution.
• Prepare clinical-quality findings, validation evidence, and documented recommendations for project teams and management to support lifecycle decisions and delivery prioritization.
• Coordinate customer access and environment-readiness needs for validation, training, and other assigned activities.
• Conduct training needs assessments and instructional analysis based on solution scope, audience, workflow change, and implementation timing.
• Develop and maintain accurate training curricula, facilitator guides, presentations, demonstrations, exercises, job aids, and reference materials.
• Deliver instructor-led or virtual training and provide follow-up support to reinforce learning and address identified knowledge gaps.
• Collect feedback and evaluate training effectiveness, adoption concerns, and recurring questions to improve future content and delivery.
• Facilitate communication across clinical, operational, customer, and technical stakeholders and translate complex information into clear next steps.
• Maintain complete and current work products in designated systems of record and follow established quality, governance, and documentation standards.
• Manage assigned work across multiple initiatives, communicate status and risks, and meet agreed milestones and client commitments.
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical workflows, healthcare technology, data quality practices, validation methods, and instructional approaches.

• Experience with electronic health records such as Epic, Oracle Health or Cerner, or comparable clinical systems.
• Experience analyzing clinical systems and identifying data quality, usability, workflow, or continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Experience with quality assurance, testing, data validation, user acceptance, requirements gathering, or business analysis.
• Training or education experience, including the ability to assess learning needs and design and deliver effective instruction.
