Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform vehicle patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and/or vehicle traffic to help to deter unauthorized access, verify credentials, and follow post orders related to weapons authorization and use of force policies.
• Support emergency preparedness activities by assisting with evacuations, communicating with first responders and/or site personnel, and maintaining awareness of security-related risks across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
