Main Purpose of the Role We are looking for translators with experience in English into Ukrainian Patent Translators/LQA reviewers (native-level fluency of languages specified) with immediate availability for a patent translation project in the fields of Mechanics, Computer Science and Chemistry. Project Details: Job Title : English into Ukrainian Translator/LQA Reviewer Start Date : ASAP Location : Remote Content Specialties: Mechanics, Computer Science and Chemistry Task Type: Translation/LQA Review Estimated work volumes: 2,000-5,000 words CAT Tool: XTM/JIRA Employment Type: Freelance Main Duties Translate and review patent-related content from English into Ukrainian , with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience. The Style adequacy is a key aspect for our client; Follow instructions, for example Translation process, CAT tool usage, etc. Communicate effectively and response promptly in English. REQUIRED SKILLS Native fluency in Ukrainian Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years' experience in the translation and/or editing of patent documents. Proficiency use of CAT tools, especially with XTM, JIRA. Attention to detail Good availability and quick response times Selected candidates will be invited to complete an the translation test.
