We are working with a large international company with a site in the Wadsworth, Ohio area in need of a Maintenance Manager to support a 220+ person manufacturing operation.  

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for Maintenance & Reliability activities at the 24/7 plant. Develops the Plant Reliability goals and strategy, with heavy focus on effectively influencing employees across departments, crafts and disciplines to achieve reliability goals and objectives. Develops and leads initiatives focused on building a reliability-based culture.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accountable for Providing Leadership in Support of the Company’s  Zero Harm Goal of Achieving an Injury-Free Workplace.
• Responsible for Buildings and Grounds activities.
• Managing contractors as necessary.
• Makes reliability recommendations to Process and Reliability Engineers based on data analysis.
• Implements critical care plans (PMs, Predictive, critical equipment).
• Creates and participates in reliability improvement initiatives providing guidance to the Maintenance personnel.
• Ensures effective equipment troubleshooting, including root causes identification and action plan implementation.
• Oversees PDM work.
• Reports and explains budget variances.
• Performs other related duties, as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field or at least 10 years in a salary maintenance role 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance field 
• 1-2 years maintenance manager / supervisor experience
• Must have stable work history
• Proficient in MS Office
• SAP experience (Preferred)

Our client offers a competitive compensation package - $120-140K salary, 10% bonus, 3 weeks vacation, 401K w/4% match and full line of benefits that start the 1st of the month after you start.
