Why this role is worth the move Long-term data center pipeline in Texas, so there is no scramble for the next project Full ownership of electrical commissioning, from planning through to final turnover A self-perform contractor, meaning you work alongside your own crews rather than chasing subs Clear progression into senior commissioning leadership as the program expands A stable, people-first business where mentorship and development are part of the job What you’ll be doing Leading electrical commissioning from construction completion through to turnover Building commissioning plans, procedures and schedules that align with the overall project timeline Overseeing startup, functional performance testing and integrated systems testing on critical power systems Working across MV/LV switchgear, transformers, generators, ATS, UPS, PDUs and busway Coordinating testing activity between the owner, GC, Cx agent, engineers and equipment vendors Reviewing drawings, specifications and test scripts to catch issues before they reach the field Tracking deficiencies and closeout, keeping systems on course for energization and handover What you’ll bring 7+ years in electrical construction, electrical testing or commissioning Commissioning experience on data center, mission critical or large industrial projects Strong working knowledge of critical power distribution and protection systems Confidence reading electrical drawings, specs and commissioning documentationThe ability to lead site meetings and keep multiple parties accountable to the schedule NFPA 70E knowledge, with NETA certification or a journeyman/master license a plus Package Medical, dental and vision coverage FSA and HSA options Short and long-term disability, life insurance and EAP 401(k) with a strong company match PTO and paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr Samuel Knight Energy & Digital Infrastructure
