About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of HR to spearhead the establishment of its American operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the US HR roadmap in alignment with global business objectives and local regulatory requirements. This pivotal role involves leading end-to-end recruitment, establishing competitive compensation and performance frameworks, and ensuring full compliance with employment laws. The Head of HR will also be tasked with developing onboarding, training, and retention programs to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture, as well as overseeing office administration and operational logistics during the setup phase. Applicants for the Head of HR position at the company must have a Master's degree or above in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years' of HR management experience within financial institutions. A strong preference is given to candidates with at least 5 years' of work or study experience in the United States, particularly those who understand both US and cross-cultural business dynamics. The role requires a proven track record in start-up and team-building, including the ability to build an HR function from the ground up. Professional competencies should include deep knowledge of all HR modules and expert-level familiarity with US federal and California state labor laws. The ideal candidate will also possess a local network in the US, particularly within the finance and technology sectors, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
