CVICU RN – Travel Contract | Night Shift

? Shift: 3x12 Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
(Rotating day/night scheduling may be required based on unit needs.)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) RN to care for high-acuity cardiac surgery patients in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Requirements

✅ Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience

✅ First-time travelers accepted

✅ BSN required

Required License

• Active Pennsylvania RN License or Compact RN License (required at time of submission)

Required Clinical Experience

• CVICU/ICU experience
• CRRT/CVVHD
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
• Impella
• Post-operative open heart patients
• CABG recovery
• Valve replacement recovery

EMR

• Epic

Floating

• If low census in CVICU, traveler may float to:
  • Any Adult ICU
  • Telemetry unit (within skill set)

Scheduling

• Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every 3rd weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• 1 holiday required during the assignment
• No call required

Dress Code

• Navy Blue scrubs

Ideal Candidate

✔ Strong CVICU background

✔ Experienced with advanced cardiac devices and post-open-heart recovery

✔ Comfortable floating to Adult ICU or Telemetry when needed

✔ Recent Epic experience

✔ Team-oriented with excellent critical care skills
