Job Description Leads internal project to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing. Manages corporate and third‑party vendor efforts to plan, build and implement solutions to internal problems and issues. Management Level Definition Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, provides innovative solutions, leads large cross‑division functional teams or projects that affect long‑term goals, and offers mentoring and guidance to lower‑level employees. Responsibilities Manages internal projects Budget as detailed in Impact section – very large/complex/multiple regions or global. Typically includes definition of strategy to achieve the sponsors’ vision of an end‑state transformation – high/very high risk. Manages project financials including business impact Meets or exceeds approved budgets. Provides reliable financial forecasts to Management. Manages stakeholder relationships Complex multi‑function and/or global relationships with senior and executive stakeholder management. Manages project team Internal and external resources with a team size generally greater than 20 people from multiple regions. Provides detailed performance review input and development recommendations for key contributors. Mentors others, providing a role model and support for individual development. Education and Experience First Level University degree. Advanced University degree preferred. 10+ years in role(s) similar in project management or related businesses. Knowledge and Skills In‑depth knowledge of key Services’ operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management. Extensive understanding of critical project management techniques. Recognized as a leader in the Services PM Profession community. PMP Certified. Impact/Scope Major impact on company business – Cost, Efficiency, TCE – generally $7–20M and/or internal project budget over $5M. High degree of transformation (e.g., mergers, divestitures & acquisitions). Impact evidenced by multiple contributions over time and sustained performance. Complexity Successfully operates in complex disciplines; evidence of sustained contributions. Projects affecting more than three organizations or the enterprise. Portfolio of projects or program supervising other project managers on very large multi‑function projects. Global projects requiring advanced scheduling and coordination techniques to meet stakeholder deadlines. Job Services Job Level Specialist Salary The expected salary/wage range for this position is USD 75,400 - 143,200 annually in Colorado.
