Relief Store Manager

Job Overview We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Relief Store Manager, based out of Dallas, TX to provide operational support across our self‑storage locations throughout the United States. In this role, you will rotate between facilities as needed, ensuring seamless day‑to‑day operations, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and driving occupancy growth at every location you serve. Travel Requirements This is a travel-intensive position covering all stores in our network, requiring regular travel by both car and plane. Role Overview As a Relief Store Manager , you will play a key role in maintaining operational consistency across multiple locations by assisting with customer service, leasing activity, property appearance, and administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities Provide operational support across multiple self‑storage locations. Deliver professional and responsive customer service through in‑person, phone, and online interactions. Assist customers with rentals, move‑ins, payments, account questions, and general inquiries. Support occupancy growth through customer retention efforts and local outreach initiatives. Perform routine property inspections to ensure facilities remain clean, safe, and well‑maintained. Handle leasing paperwork, payment processing, account management, and related administrative tasks. Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collection follow‑up procedures. Coordinate with maintenance vendors and track completion of property work orders. Support merchandise sales and maintain adequate inventory levels for retail items such as locks and moving supplies. Step in to support staffing coverage, operational needs, and special projects as business demands require. Promote a positive, team‑oriented culture while maintaining strong operational standards. Self‑storage industry experience is a plus but not required. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Comfortable working independently and adapting to different store environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Availability to work flexible schedules, including some weekends and holidays as needed. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred due to travel between locations.
