divh2Parts Driver/h2pThis position is located at our parts retail location in Fontana, CA./ppThe pay rate for Parts Drivers is $22.53 per hour./ppOur employees receive a generous benefits package including:/pulliMedical/liliDental/liliVision/liliPrescription benefits/lili401k with employer matching program/liliFlexible Savings Account/liliHealth Savings Account (available with some medical programs)/liliLong Term and Short-Term Disability/liliLife Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance/liliPaid Time Off/liliOn-going training opportunities/li/ulh3The Opportunity/h3pAs a Parts Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up parts and equipment for the dealership./ph3Your Responsibilities/h3ulliPick up and deliver parts to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors while maintaining a professional appearance of the parts department/liliFollow up with customers to see if additional parts or services are needed/liliCoordinate last minute pick-ups or deliveries with parts counter people or shipping and receiving clerk/liliVerify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up/liliKeep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups/liliHandle all paperwork and undelivered parts after unloading truck each night/liliHandle basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed/liliAdvise parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance/liliAssist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts./li/ulh3What We Look For/h3ulliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)/lili3 years related experience and/or training/liliEffective and strong verbal and written communication skills/liliStrong organizational skills and attention to detail/liliStrong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service/liliAbility to proactively problem-solve and think logically/liliGood time management with demonstrated ability to efficiently multi-task with large volume in a fast-paced work environment/liliMust be able to lift a minimum of 30kgs/70lbs/liliValid Drivers License and the ability to meet required driving record for insurance purposes/liliForklift Certification would be a plus/li/ulpInland Kenworth is an industry leader in the heavy-duty truck sales, service, and parts marketplace.
