Job Description As the Restaurant Manager (Restaurant Leader) at Raising Cane’s, you will provide strategic direction, ensure financial success, maintain compliance with company standards, and cultivate a culture of excellence. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will involve managing staff, driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring outstanding customer service in a fast‑paced kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Ensure overall financial success and manage forecasting and budgeting. Maintain full compliance with company standards, policies, and laws. Hire, train, evaluate, and terminate management‑level crew members; manage payroll and status changes. Create and enforce crew schedules and training programs. Develop management staff through performance management and coaching. Act as manager on duty: open and close the restaurant, manage cash handling, and resolve operational issues. Monitor profit and loss statements and develop strategies to improve financial performance. General Responsibilities Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards. Utilize required tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution and document results. Deploy crew members during shifts and ensure exemplary customer service. Use the reward and recognition program for crew members. Authorize employee functions that require manager approval (e.g., discounts, time‑clock overrides). Maintain cleanliness and ensure the facility is in good working order. Achieve and maintain training restaurant status. Maintain “meets expectations” or higher metrics across all crew and operational performance indicators. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may constantly change. Self‑driven, flexible, highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Effective independent and collaborative worker. Problem‑solving mindset: recognizes problems, sets goals, develops plans, and implements solutions. High emotional intelligence and ability to measure performance objectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and quick learner of new systems. Availability for various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and travel as required. Professional public dealings and brand‑ambassador behavior inside and outside the restaurant. 5+ years of restaurant or retail management experience. Experience in new restaurant openings and local marketing is preferred. Minimum age – 18 years. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Valid driver’s license.
