Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for preoperative patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, plan and implement care, administer medications as ordered, and monitor responses while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels, delegating tasks appropriately and promoting professional practice.
- Coordinate care with anesthesia, surgeons, and other disciplines; communicate patient status, plan of care, and anticipated needs clearly.
- Exercise critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to prioritize patient care in fast-paced perioperative settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, uphold infection control practices, and ensure readiness for the intraoperative phase.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Ability to work in a perioperative/operating room setting
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient safety and quality care
