Position Description: RECEPTIONIST/ PATIENT ACCOUNTS NONEXEMPT Seeking a Receptionist/ Patient Accounts Representative to provide exceptional services to patients while representing the office in a professional and friendly manner. This individual ensures that patient needs and visit expectations are met and ensures smooth operations while checking patients in and out of the office, preauthorizing visits, and overseeing patient accounts.Duties and Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner. Schedule new patients Obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies Answer telephone Assist billing company with information needed to submit claims to insurance companies and monitor patient accounts Maintain work area and lobby in neat and orderly manner Accuracy and attention to detail in all paperwork completed Respect patients' right to privacy and confidentiality Scanning, filing, and other general office dutiesQualities that we are looking for in a candidate are: Reliable team player Well organized Positive attitude Great communication skills Strong computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records Ability to multi-taskingWe offer a competitive compensation and benefit package, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, and Paid Time Off.
