About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer to spearhead all restaurant development activities across its multi-brand portfolio. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the overall development strategy, identifying and securing high-quality opportunities, and managing the entire process from market analysis to new restaurant openings. This role requires a professional with a minimum of 10 years' progressive restaurant development leadership experience, a proven track record in multi-unit development, and a strong background in financial and analytical skills, including investment analysis and development economics. The Chief Development Officer will also be responsible for building and leading the development platform, so an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to build and manage systems and processes are essential. The ideal candidate for the Chief Development Officer position at the company will have a background in leading multi-unit development for franchise and/or corporate restaurant organizations. They should be adept at negotiating and managing relationships with various stakeholders, including brokers, developers, and franchise partners. The role demands an individual who is comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, and is willing to travel extensively. Key responsibilities include overseeing permitting, entitlement, construction, and remodels, as well as developing scalable systems and performance metrics. The Chief Development Officer will work closely with the executive team to prioritize capital investments and development opportunities, making this a critical role in the company's long-term growth strategy.
