Responsibilities include:
•    Remove and dispose of trash and relieve laundry staff as needed.
•    Interact appropriately with residents, clients, other personnel, supervisors, and the public.
•    Respond to customer preferences, comply with industry and federal and state guidelines, and meet the needs of residents.
•    Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure that a sanitary environment is maintained. Follow proper reporting, isolation, and handwashing procedures/techniques.  
•    Wash, dry fold, and hang laundry, label Residents' clothing, and return Residents' laundry within 8 to 24 hours.
•    Daily cleaning the laundry department, sanitizing the washers and dryers, emptying the trash, sweep, and mop.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required- experience in healthcare settings is preferred. Excellent customer service skills are necessary.
